A Few Tips on Print Design

1: Be clear and to the point. Your product should say who you are, what you do and how people can get in touch with you.

2: Spelling mistakes and incorrect details are not a good idea - Take care when inputting your copy. Check, double check and re-check that everything is correct. Using the wrong phone number or e-mail address is the most common mistake people make when designing and printing their cards and brochures. It’s also a good idea for someone else to check through your artwork once you have finished- they may see something you have missed!

3: Ensure the artwork for your product is fully print ready. Apply CMYK colours instead of the RGB colour system used to display images on your computer screen. A vivid blue or green displayed on a RGB screen can look less vibrant when they are automatically converted over to the CMYK format when printed.
